A lecture on scrap gold prices
I got the invitation from my cousin"s neighbour. It was an invitation to a lecture on financial matters. I wouldn"t normally be interested in the topic, but my cousin, who got an invitation too, persuaded me to go. The points of the lecture included investment strategies and interpreting gold bullion and scrap gold prices information available on the internet for free. My cousin wanted to sell some scrap gold but she didn"t really know how to get down to it. This is why she did not want to miss the lecture. Her neighbour kept telling us that we would be listening to a real specialist who would explain everything clearly and answer all our questions. The lecture was supposed to take place in a huge hotel in town, on the twentieth of October. We arrived at the place a bit earlier to find the right room in the enormous building. When we finally reached it, ten people had already been waiting for the lecturer to arrive. I was a bit afraid that the discussion on scrap gold prices would rather be biased as it was organized by a company that sold bullion bars and scrap gold. But it was not like that at all! For the first time in my life I was listening to somebody talking about financial matters with real interest.
